The OSD plugs into the accessory connector on the Cinematography Electronics Cine Tape. Video assist passes through the OSD to the onboard Monitor. The Cine Tape focus distance reading then shows as an overlay on the assist picture. This readout can be positioned anywhere on the screen and set to different font sizes.

For hand held, steadycams and cranes, use the inbuilt UHF video transmitter.
The OSD is aluminum and measures 50*40*30 mm (2*1.75*1.25 in) plus BNC’s. weighing 110gm, (4oz).
